The service

TrueScribe offers an AI-text detector and a text humanizer. It is provided free of charge up to the published limits (with an optional Pro plan for longer texts) and "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Scores are estimates

AI-detection results are probability estimates, not proof. They can be wrong, especially for formal writing and for text by non-native English speakers. Do not use a score as the only basis for accusing anyone of anything.

Acceptable use

TrueScribe is for editing and checking your own writing, and for checking text you are entitled to review. You are responsible for following the rules of your school, employer, publisher or client about AI-assisted writing; using this service does not change those rules or excuse breaking them. Do not use it to pass off work as yours where that is forbidden, to impersonate someone, to produce spam, fake reviews or deceptive content, or to accuse a person of cheating on the strength of a score alone. We may suspend accounts that do.

No guarantees about detectors

We do not promise that rewritten text will or will not be flagged by any other company's detector. Those tools change often and are outside our control.

Your responsibilities

• You must have the right to submit the text you use.
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to overload or disrupt it, or to scrape it beyond the published limits.
• The rewriter is a writing aid. Following the rules of your school, employer or publisher about AI use is your responsibility.
• Keep your password safe. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Pro plan

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time in two clicks (Account, then Manage billing) and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Plan limits and prices may change.

Limits and availability

Daily and size limits apply and may change. We may change or stop the service at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
