Your text is processed to give you a result and is not kept, unless you are signed in and have switched on "Save my history" (off by default). The AI detector runs on our own server. The only things that can send your text to another company are the ones listed under "Who may receive your text", and each is named there.
What we collect
- Guests: the text you submit is processed to give you a result and is not stored. We keep a daily word counter linked to your IP address (or to a random cookie,
ts_anon) to apply limits, and delete it after 60 days. - Accounts: your email address, your password (stored only as a salted hash), and a session cookie. Your text is not stored unless you switch on "Save my history". With it on, we keep the text, the result and the date for 90 days, or until you delete it.
- Jobs in progress: while the humanizer works, your text and the result sit in the server's memory and are deleted one hour after the job finishes at the latest.
- PDF reports: built on this server from the result you just received; nothing is stored for a private report. If you choose "make a share link" (signed in only), we store the report's numbers and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the text, never the text, until you stop sharing it.
- API (Pro): we store a hash of each API key (never the key), its name, and per-day request and word counts (kept 90 days). Texts sent through the API are processed and are not saved to history. Repeat-request protection keeps a result's fingerprint for 24 hours.
- Payments: Paid plans are not open yet, so no payment service is in use and nothing is collected.
- Server logs: for each request we log the time, address of the page (without anything after a "?"), status, duration and your IP address. We never log your text, passwords, cookies or API keys. Logs are rotated and old ones are deleted automatically, so they are kept for weeks, not years. Security events (failed sign-ins, bans, admin actions) are kept for 180 days.
- Benchmark votes: if you vote on the blind comparison page, we store your choices with a random anonymous voter cookie (
ts_voter), not your name or email.
Who may receive your text
- AI detector: runs on this server. Your text is not sent to anyone for detection. The public base models it uses are downloaded once from Hugging Face; that download contains no text of yours.
- Rewriting (humanizer): Your text is sent to Google's Gemini API to be rewritten.
- Extra detectors (optional): if the owner turns them on, open-source detector models run on this server when you ask for them. Your text is not sent to anyone for this.
- External cross-check (optional): No external detection services are connected, so your text is never sent to one.
- Fonts: The site uses the fonts already installed on your device, so nothing is loaded from other companies for typography.
- Email: Email is not enabled, so no emails are sent.
- Bot check: No bot-check service is used.
We do not sell your data, do not use your text to train any model, and do not use advertising or analytics services.
Feedback on results
If you report a wrong result, we store your claim and the score. We keep the text itself only if you tick the box allowing it, and use it only to improve the detector. Feedback is kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: ts_session keeps you signed in, ts_anon counts a guest's daily words, and ts_voter (only if you vote) stops double voting. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.
Your choices and rights
While signed in you can download everything we hold about you, delete any saved item, or delete your whole account (this also removes your history, API keys, reports and feedback). You can also email us to ask what we hold or to have it deleted.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and hashed API keys, and we limit what each part of the service can do. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not submit text you cannot risk sharing.
